Client Challenge

Eco Performance Builders was relying on a large custom Excel spreadsheet to generate project estimates for their sales process. While functional, the system had become difficult to maintain, cumbersome to share across the sales team, and inefficient for day-to-day use. Each estimate required significant manual cleanup, including removing unused services, adjusting wording, and formatting documents before they could be sent to clients. The company needed a more streamlined and scalable solution that could improve consistency, collaboration, and efficiency.

Solution

We replaced the outdated spreadsheet workflow with a custom web application designed specifically around Eco Performance Builders’ estimating process. The new system provides a cleaner, more intuitive user experience while allowing sales staff to access and manage estimates from anywhere through a centralized platform. Because the application is web-based, updates and maintenance can be handled quickly without distributing new spreadsheet versions to the team.

The platform also introduced role-based account access and secure staff logins, giving the company greater control over permissions and sensitive business information. Estimates can now be generated more efficiently with far less manual editing, helping the sales team save time and maintain consistency across projects. In addition to creating estimates, the system also allows clients to view proposals online and streamlines the process of generating contracts directly from approved estimates, creating a more seamless experience for both staff and customers.
