Client Challenge

This is the premier Scandinavian festival in the eastern United States.  They wanted an updated website that would stop potential attendees from having to question the validity of the yearly event.  They also wanted streamline and modernize their event ticketing.

Solution

We redesigned the festival’s website with a modern, polished look that better reflected the scale and reputation of one of the premier Scandinavian festivals in the eastern United States. The new site was built on WordPress, giving staff the ability to easily update content, manage event information, and make changes on their own without needing ongoing developer support. The redesign also improved the overall user experience with clearer navigation, mobile-friendly layouts, and a more professional online presence that inspires confidence in new and returning attendees alike.

We also completely modernized the festival’s ticketing process by replacing the old mail-in system with a fully online ticketing platform. Attendees can now purchase and print tickets online in just a few minutes, while event staff can quickly scan guests at entry for a faster check-in experience. Moving to digital ticketing also freed staff from the time-consuming process of manually tracking orders, handling payments, and mailing physical tickets in the weeks leading up to the event.
